Italy for Inspiration
Sitting here next to the crackling fire watching the streets fill with pristine powdery snow, as beautiful as it is, it's a bit hard not to dream of warmer days - reminiscing of an Italian getaway last September...
It's always good to take some time out of the rat race, a little getaway is sooo good for the soul. There's nothing like an Italian escape to revive the senses - sun, food, wine & design .... did I mention wine?! :) Oh and ceramics too!
That country never ceases to amaze me, from the perfect azure skies, insane pastries, cobbled streets beneath towering ancient buildings with sun-bleached dissolving murals. As you sit in the autumn sun sipping espresso on a side street cafe-bar, cathedral bells chiming in the distance, you can't help but wanna stay there forever!!!!!!! Yes but no (but yes), that should have said 'feel so inspired'! Right?! :P Italy's backstreets set the stage for a bit of an impromptu photo shoot of some for our pieces. The colourful lane ways heavily drenched in graffiti were the perfect backdrop for our jewellery.
